We have had so much fun with Captain America this season. The boys could not be more excited to wake up and find out what each day's mission is, and I've got some giggles out of it all. There were a few days that I forgot to get pictures of Cap, so I may have to restage some shoots of his awesome feats, but I've tried to remember since then.
We've been assigned missions to:
- make Christmas cards for the boys' teachers
- bake Christmas cookies
- explore the back field for Elf traps (found 2, and refueled with Christmas cookies when we got home)
In the meantime, Captain America has brought us:
- an informational book about his own history (golden books ROCK!)
- mini ice-creams
And, today he brought in reinforcements so the boys could have a day off, which may, or may not, have helped out mom having a rather hectic day and Daddy coming home from being gone for four days!
Here is where we found the Captain one day, and the boys carrying out that day's mission of baking Christmas cookies . . . . .
Here he is gaurding the supply of ice cream in the freezer, and his 'horrible' handwriting (as Judah says) on the bottom of the letter:
And, this is what we woke up to this morning. The boys found him first.
"Mom, come here! You have to see this. It's hilarious!"
As of now, there are 19 more days until Christmas! Stay vigilant, civilians!
