I love how this world can be SO gigantic and huge in size, but so cozy and small in person! I met Jake a few years ago at my sister's graduation. My sisters all loved him like a brother, so I kind of got lumped in the mess, too. Now, the Air Force has brought him closer in proximity to me, and closer in heart to a beautiful young woman! I'm so excited for them, and so honored to be able to take these gorgeous engagement shots!
When we were planning on where we should go, I got such a sense of 'home' about these 2. Amy talked about the country, and trees, and natural, open spaces. I got a pictures of the kind of home where family never quits on you, LOVE is big in evey part of life, and you know it will get passed on to everyone that steps in the door! HA! all of that is a bigger picture than I could ever capture, but, you can see it starting in these 2 hearts!
I get such joy out of capturing the ease of love between 2 people.
Awwwww!
And, then you get to the funny side of them. And, it just makes me laugh!
Nerd glasses : )
*hint: being able to be silly with each other brings your hearts closer together, it also helps on nights when there's not much going on ; )
(this one is probably my fav. There's something sweet happening between them and I love it!)
(wait: this one, too! wait!, and the next one, too!)
And, the cherry on the top of the whole day was that Amy had brought her prom dress along to play around with. Yes! she fit it, and she ROCKED it!!!
Jake and Amy, Congratulations! You 2 are so sweet together and I'm so excited for you both. I hope this big/small world allows our paths to cross more often. :
